homes, offices, galleries, and public spaces.
Used extensively throughout the building, architectural, lighting, and agricultural sectors,
With our many Cable Gripper styles you can hang anything: Drop Ceilings,
Match with wire rope, this is a braided support cable for our track lighting suspension system. The cable is sold in various lengths to work with almost any ceiling height. The cable has a barrel terminal attached at one end. With this system, the cable is inserted into the ceiling coupler on one end and the cable glider on the other. No tools are required to do this. Once the system is installed the cable can be adjusted by sliding it through the cable glider and releasing the top plunger when needed. Once your entire track system is installed and working and you have the exact desired height of your track you can cut away the excess cable. See our installation instructions for more details.
1. When feeding cable into the Gripper, always allow it to pass at least 1” beyond the body of the Gripper.
2. When cutting off excess cable always leave at least 1” of cable shows.
3. Cables may be cut using purpose-built cutters. The cable will not fray unless passed repeatedly through the Gripper mechanism or otherwise abused.
4. To prevent fraying of freshly cut ends, re-solder or apply a drop of super-glue.
5. Do not feed the excess cable into a lighting fixture housing or junction box containing electrical wiring.
